CALM FROM THE CENTRE
Colin Wilson & Riley Lee, The Masters of Calm
Guitarist/multi-instrumentalist, Colin Wilson, spent over seven months with Zen flute (shakuhachi) Grand Master, Dr Riley Lee, in the production of this album.
"I love this album. It is a musical landscape beginning in the remote heart of the continent and moving, calmly and mysteriously, towards the coastline. It reminds me so much of the peace of Central Australia."

If your browser is set up ideally, the track will be downloading and will soon be playing automatically. Browsers are quirky things, though, and the track is in the beautiful MP3 format which some plug-ins are still coming to grips with. IT'S WORTH PERSISTING, THOUGH. If the track isn't playing by now, you may need to load the plug-in ...
We think Quicktime is by far the best, because it plays so many other types of files - including many video formsts - but you can also use Microsoft's Media Player or the more common Real Media G2 player.
If you don't have the browser installed, simply follow this route:

As well as MP3, we have also recorded these tracks in Real Media format. Why? Because Real Player is one of the most common audio plugins available. It also allows you to download sound files quickly (because they're smaller files).
But there is a price for that speed... when the files are small, the quality is very poor.
If you wish to listen to a short sample of this album in Real Media format, go here

It is possible to improve the audio quality of Real Media encoding. The trade-off in improved quality is larger files (therefore slower download). If this appeals to you, we'd recommend using the MP3 files that started downloading when you came to this page. However, if you want to stay with Real Player, and Real Media, go here
