The Words Approach
 



Once again, we assume you know a little about meditation. If you do not, you might need to backtrack to have some of the basics explained.

One of the most common techniques used in meditation is the spoken word – the repetition of a single word or phrase until you move out of your restless state into one of great peace and calm.

In classic usage, this word or phrase often has an exotic description: a mantra, a prayer, a chant, a dhikr, a drone. Call it what you will; in this particular application, it is just a word.

It can also work in a more visual sense (as opposed to a spoken sense), and this is what the following relates to.
